Circles turns informal, often invisible agreements between historic golf clubs into a visible, embeddable and trackable network — while clubs stay fully in control.
Circles is a side project of The Centenary — our main platform for reciprocal play across all historic golf clubs worldwide. Where The Centenary opens a global network, Circles focuses on a different need: clubs that already have an existing reciprocal group and simply want to give it a clear, modern digital presence. The two products are separate but complementary.
When committees change, nobody really knows who manages which reciprocal agreements.
Each club maintains its own version, so no two lists are the same.
Nobody is actively inviting new eligible clubs to join — even when there are dozens of natural candidates.
Many agreements still say "free" while clubs would now prefer a member-guest rate or defined discount.
Stronger clubs hesitate to publish an unclear or outdated list on their website.
Usage drops, administration becomes harder, and valuable networks slowly lose meaning for members.
Circles solves these issues without changing who you welcome or how you run your club:
These show what Circles looks like in practice — an existing collaboration turned into a clear, interactive overview for members, with consistent information across all participating clubs.
Clubs founded in 1895, united by heritage and year of founding.

Share your list. Send us your current list of participating clubs and the basic terms of your reciprocal agreement.
We build your Circle. We create the Circle page, map, list and prepare embed codes for all participating clubs.
You go live. Each participating club links to the Circle from its own website — instantly giving members a clear overview.
We help it grow. Over time we can help refine admission rules and identify potential new clubs to join.
If you're part of an existing reciprocal group — based on founding year, architect, region or another shared link — and would like to modernise how it is presented, we'd be happy to help.
